A Christening is a great way to get family and friends together.
We can hold functions for you to celebrate your child’s Christening after you have been to church, or to hold a Civil Naming Ceremony, we were in fact the first venue in the Wakefield district to hold a Naming Ceremony. A Naming Ceremony is a very special way of celebrating the birth of your child and welcoming the new arrival into the family and the wider community.
It is also ideally suited to welcome an adoptive child or to embrace stepchildren into a new family. It is an opportunity to declare before family and friends, your promises to be as good a parent as you can, and for adult friends or relatives to confirm their special relationship with your child.
The child or children can be any age. A naming ceremony is a unique occasion for everyone to feel involved as they pledge their love and support for your child’s future development. Any parent can make arrangements to hold a naming ceremony. Likewise anyone who has parental responsibility or legal guardianship of the child or children.
Parents do not have to be married and can come from any spiritual background or none. Every Naming Ceremony is unique and offers the flexibility to meet the individual needs and wishes of the family.
Ceremonies can be specially created using the family’s selection of words, or poems and readings from the wide selection provided. During the ceremony a Souvenir Record of the ceremony is signed by the parents, supporting adults and the Celebrant.There are many ways to make your child’s ceremony a very personal, meaningful and unique event for all those involved.

Door entry only £5 every month to see our brilliant shows and great DJs till lateGain entry to the venue from 8:30pm and shows usually start 9pm- 9.30pm with DJ after the show until 12.30am whilst we do our best to provide additional seating, seats for door entry are not guaranteed.

We have a fully dedicated venue catering for up to 200 guests. Smaller numbers can of course also be catered for. Our Staff are well trained and friendly and can be relied on to be both courteous and understanding.We can cater to requirements and budget providing light refreshments, excellent homemade buffets or seated meals prepared on site by our chef and dedicated staff.
With over 30 years experience we know how to entertain. We are located close to the Castleford, Normanton, Altofts, Pontefract, Wakefield and Leeds and only minutes from junction 31 of the M62 making us the perfect if you are looking for great entertainment or the perfect venue to hire.
All the entertainment is sourced by ourselves to make sure we have only the best in live performances and our meals are prepared fresh by our team of chefs to the highest standard.
